I’m pretending that I’m happy you’ve found someone that could treat you better. I’m trying to convince myself to accept the fact that you’re thinking about someone else other than me. I’m making myself believe that I still have a chance with you when I don’t. I’m faking a smile and a positive attitude around you, just so you won’t worry. I’m constantly lying to myself saying that I don’t need you, that I don’t want you. When the truth is, I’m pretending to be happy.
